June's Faith

Interview with Carly Wiggins

In this My Life Now episode, Dallas interviews Carly Wiggins, author of "June's Faith".

About Our Guest:
Carly Wiggins resides in Houston, Texas. She helps as a teacher's aide for a school with students with special needs. June's Faith isn't a memoir, but her faith played a major role in the writing of the novella. She is also planning a book of poetry next. She loves music, audiobooks, and spending her free time in Vermont.

About The Book:
It’s a struggle that every believer deals with from time to time in his or her Christian walk, one that must be confronted head-on: that of doubt. Unless it is dealt with deliberately and definitively, spiritual growth is virtually impossible.

June learns this unavoidable lesson, often with tears, in this very easy-to-read story of how she handles her doubt and disappointment with God after years of struggle following the death of her toddler sister. Through a series of visions and dreams, she comes to grips with the source of her doubt in an interplay of candid conversations with Him and with a couple of dear heavenly residents who urge her to resolve her conflict with the Lord.

A romance, a marriage, a birth, and a missionary trip to Argentina all combine in this story to demonstrate God’s marvelous way of using various life events to draw us back to Him in a closer relationship. June’s story is in many ways the story of countless believers who deeply want to follow God but still have some baggage they need to surrender fully to Him.
